Agreement and eligibility

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FlowNotch website, Mac application, accounts, marketplace, downloads, licenses, and related services. By downloading, purchasing, accessing, or using FlowNotch, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

FlowNotch is an independently operated software product operated by Rohit Kumar under the name FlowNotch, based in Germany. You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you use FlowNotch for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these Terms.

Free trial

FlowNotch may offer a five-day free trial so you can evaluate the app before purchasing. A trial is provided without a paid license, may be limited to one trial per person or device, and may be modified or withdrawn if reasonably necessary to prevent abuse. After the trial ends, a valid license is required to continue using paid features.

One-time purchases and payment

FlowNotch core licenses are sold for a one-time payment. They are not automatically renewing subscriptions. Prices, currencies, included features, and activation limits are shown before checkout and may change for future purchases.

Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record and processes checkout, payments, applicable taxes, invoices, and refunds. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's checkout terms. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and for any bank, currency-conversion, or similar charges imposed by your payment provider.

Software license and activations

FlowNotch is licensed, not sold. After a valid purchase, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, and non-transferable license to install and use the purchased version of FlowNotch on the number of Macs included in your order, for your own personal or internal business use.

“Lifetime access” means access to the purchased license for as long as that version of FlowNotch remains available and technically supportable. It does not mean your lifetime, guarantee perpetual operation of third-party services, or include every future product, paid add-on, marketplace item, or major upgrade.

License keys and activation slots may not be shared, resold, published, or used beyond the purchased limit. You may deactivate a Mac or request a reasonable reset when you replace, lose, or sell a device.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping account access, license keys, and connected-service credentials secure. Notify support@flownotch.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. We may require reasonable verification before changing account or license details.

Marketplace and third-party content

The FlowNotch marketplace may offer free and paid widgets, scenes, pets, logos, packs, or other digital content. An item's listing identifies its price, creator, included content, and any item-specific conditions. Paid marketplace items are one-time purchases unless the listing clearly states otherwise.

Third-party content is provided by its creator and may interact with external services. Review its listing and requested permissions before installation. We may remove or disable content that is unlawful, unsafe, infringing, deceptive, or incompatible, but we do not guarantee that all third-party content will remain available or work indefinitely.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use FlowNotch unlawfully or to violate another person's rights.
• Circumvent licensing, activation limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
• Copy, resell, rent, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit FlowNotch except where an applicable license or mandatory law expressly permits it.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except to the limited extent such a restriction is prohibited by mandatory law.
• Interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, scrape excessively, or abuse APIs.
• Upload or distribute unlawful, infringing, malicious, or deceptive marketplace content.

Ownership and feedback

FlowNotch and its software, branding, design, documentation, and first-party content are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

You retain ownership of content you create. If you submit suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment, while we remain responsible for complying with applicable privacy law.

Updates, integrations, and availability

We may provide fixes, security updates, compatibility updates, and feature improvements. Basic updates may be included with your license, while future major versions, add-ons, services, or marketplace items may require a separate purchase. We will clearly disclose any price before purchase.

FlowNotch depends on macOS and may connect to third-party services you choose. Changes by Apple or those services may affect functionality. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary, while respecting mandatory consumer rights and any commitments made for a paid product.

Refund policy and consumer rights

Except where required by applicable law, purchases of FlowNotch licenses and marketplace digital content are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, accidental purchases, unused licenses, device incompatibility that was disclosed before purchase, or discontinued use.

To request a refund or exercise a withdrawal, warranty, or conformity right, email support@flownotch.com with the email address used at checkout, the order number, the affected product, and a brief explanation of the request. Do not send payment-card details. We will review the request promptly and may ask for information reasonably needed to verify the purchase or diagnose a reported defect.

Approved refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record, to the original payment method where possible. Processing times depend on Lemon Squeezy, the payment method, and the financial institution. When a refund, chargeback, or payment reversal is completed, the related license or marketplace entitlement may be revoked and must no longer be used.

If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory statutory withdrawal, conformity, warranty, repair, replacement, price-reduction, refund, or other rights under the law of your country. Nothing in these Terms excludes, limits, or replaces rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Any consent requested at checkout for immediate delivery of digital content, and its effect on a statutory withdrawal right, is handled through the merchant-of-record checkout.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using FlowNotch at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, payment reversal, license abuse, security threats, unlawful conduct, or a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will remain effective.

Warranties and liability

FlowNotch is provided with reasonable care and skill but, to the maximum extent permitted by law, without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device or service, or suitable for every purpose. You are responsible for maintaining backups and reviewing actions performed through widgets and integrations.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, fraud, product liability, or any liability that cannot legally be limited. Subject to those exceptions, liability for slight negligence is limited to breaches of essential contractual duties and to reasonably foreseeable damage typical for this kind of agreement. Mandatory consumer-law protections remain unaffected.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by German law, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of your habitual residence.

Please contact support@flownotch.com first so we can try to resolve a dispute informally. Any mandatory rules regarding jurisdiction and consumer dispute rights continue to apply.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The revised version applies from the stated effective date. Material changes affecting existing paid rights will be communicated when required and will not retroactively remove rights already granted without a valid legal basis.
